WILDERNESS WONDERS: ELEPHANTS, RHINOS & TIGERS IN NEPAL
Terai National Park Chitwan Bardia Tigers Elephants Rhinos Nepal Acme Travel
As the warm weather starts to make itself felt, and the undergrowth begins to dry out, it's the best time to spot wild animals as they start to come out in search of water. Head up into the Terai Arc and visit Nepal's gorgeous national parks - Chitwan and Bardia. Both of these reserves are abundant with wildlife including tigers, elephants, rhinos, bears and much more. Chitwan is particularly known for it's rhino sightings. Nepal is also terrific elephant country and if you want to see and photograph pachyderms in the wild, this is a great place to do so. These grasslands are also an excellent habitat for tigers and Chitwan particularly has a healthy population. The Nepalese government has made a firm commitment to double it's tiger population in keeping with the WWF's Global TX2 tiger conservation program. Ask us today to plan your Nepal safari
