Itinerary

Day 01- Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival in New Delhi, India’s political capital, you will be greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and escorted to your hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi
Your tour today introduces you to the highlights of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Drive through the colonial heritage of Lutyens’ Delhi and visit Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Later explore Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad), including a visit to Jama Masjid, Asia’s largest mosque, followed by an exciting rickshaw ride through the bustling narrow streets of Chandni Chowk.
Day 03 - Delhi –Jaipur
Check out after breakfast and drive to Jaipur. En route, an optional stop in charming Samode gives you the chance to explore an authentic village, its ancient wells, gates, forts and vibrant craftsmanship. Continue to Jaipur for an orientation tour of the walled city, then free time to explore colourful bazaars at leisure.
Day 04 - Jaipur
Enjoy an excursion to the magnificent Amber Fort, former seat of the Rajput rulers. Explore its richly decorated halls including the dazzling Hall of Mirrors. Later visit the City Palace and its museum, followed by Jantar Mantar, the 18th-century astronomical observatory. Discover the famous Hawa Mahal, “Palace of the Winds,” and enjoy a rickshaw ride in the lively markets. Time for shopping local crafts such as blue pottery and block-printed textiles.
Day 05 Jaipur – Agra
Drive to Agra with a stop at the UNESCO-listed Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s once-capital. On arrival in Agra, reach the Taj Mahal (closed Fridays) by traditional tonga. Admire the world-renowned monument, entirely clad in white marble with exquisite pietra dura inlay work.
Day 06 Agra - Gwalior
Visit the imposing Agra Fort, home to Mughal emperors, followed by Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb, known as the “Baby Taj”. Continue to Sikandra, Akbar’s impressive mausoleum set within gardens. Drive onward to Gwalior and in the evening enjoy the Sound and Light Show at Gwalior Fort (entry payable directly).
Day 07 – Gwalior
Explore the city’s architectural and cultural heritage with visits to Teli Ka Mandir, Saas Bahu Temples and the Jiwaji Rao Scindia Museum. Pay homage at the tomb of Tansen and memorials of freedom fighters including Tatya Tope. Later admire the Sun Temple and the remarkable Jain rock-cut statues at Gopachal Parvat.
Day 08 – Gwalior ? Delhi
After breakfast, transfer to Gwalior railway station for your return train journey to New Delhi.
