India

Passport valid for 6 months after the date of arrival (imperatively 2 blank pages available).

Visa required: Since May 1st, 2015, France is one of the countries eligible for e-visa or eTV (e-Tourist Visa).

You will find a complete list of instructions to follow and documents to provide.To note nevertheless:

• Approach to be done at least 4 days and at most 30 days before the effective date of departure (example: for a request on September 1st, you can select an arrival date between September 5th and October 4th).
• Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country and having 2 consecutive blank pages.
• Documents to download during your online application:
• A clear and legible copy of your passport details in PDF format (> 10 KB and <300 KB)
• A recent identity photo in JPEG format (> 10KB and <1 MB) and respecting certain specific criteria (the photo must be square, in color and on a white background, the neutral expression, the face uncovered, etc.)
• Be careful these 2 documents must meet the required standards!
• Cost of the visa: 60 US $ / person (payable directly online by credit card - but not refundable)
• Remember to print and keep a copy of your eTV (e-Tourist Visa) and bring it with you on the day of departure (it may be requested upon check-in or boarding).
• Your biometric data (fingerprints and facial recognition) will be collected upon your arrival in India at the passage of immigration (new measure, mandatory, imposed by the Indian authorities)
• Validity of eTV : A utiliser impérativement dans les 30 jours suivant son obtention
• Valid for a stay of 30 days maximum (not extendable)
• Only one authorized entry (not modifiable)
• Accepted only at the following 9 international airports (to date): Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Chennai (Madras), Cochin, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Trivandrum and Goa

Sri Lanka

Passport valid for 6 months after the return date.

Visa required. The request must be made online by logging on the site www.eta.gov.lk. The procedure is simple and does not require additional documents. Once the request has been made, an Electronic Travel Authorization is sent. This procedure is accompanied by a payment of $ 30 per person (free for children under 12). The visa issued will be a double entry tourist visa applicable 30 days from the date of arrival.

Nepal

Passport valid for 6 months after the return date.

Visa required. $ 25 per person. The visa will be issued at Kathmandu airport upon arrival.
