Day 1 AIRPORT / NEGOMBO

Welcome & assistance at the airport transfer to the beach hotel in Negombo. Free relax at the beachhotel&overnight

Day 2 NEGOMBO

Morning boat ride in the canal & visit the fishing village in Negombo which is the center of the island’s fishing community. It is largely Roman Catholic by faith, with huge imposing churches down almost every street. The sea & the catamarans are the backdrop to the Negombo scenery. Another point of interest in Negombo is the Old Dutch Fort, which was built in 1672. It is situated near the shore and offers a glimpse into the colonization history of Negombo. However, the Fort is now in a state of disrepair. Return back to the hotel PM free relax & overnight at hotel

Day 3 NEGOMBO CULTURAL TRIANGLE REGION

AM leave to Sigiriya. P.M. climb the rock of Sigiriya located in the north-central part of Sri Lanka, preserves the architectural tradition of the country.The town is famous for its Rock, Gardens and Sanctuary.Sigiriya has spectacular importance in Sri Lanka. An ancient palace complex, erected during the reign of King Kasyapa, has been declared by UNESCO a world heritage site. Many experienced tourists call Sigiriya the most favorable place in Sri Lanka to visit.classical realism of Sri Lanka continuation to hotel for overnight.

Day 4 ANURADHAPURA MIHINTALE

AM excursion to Anuradhapura & visit the ruins of the first capital founded in the 05th century BC here is found the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. "Sri Mahabodhi" the oldest historically documented tree in the world is over 2200 years. There are monuments such as Ruwanveliseyadageba, 2nd century BC with its famous Elephant wall; Thuparamadageba 3rd century BC. PM visit Mihintale. In 247 B.C. Buddhism was first introduced to Sri Lanka on the mountain of Mihintale. Since then, various kings of Sri Lanka have blessed this rock with magnificent masterpieces of architecture. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 5 POLONNARUWA

AM visit Polonnaruwa by Bicycles Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital city for three centuries,is one of the most interesting places in Sri Lanka with many well preserved ruins of palace and monasteries which easily can make every tourist to impress.people, will make your breath away with its unbelievable beauty. Evening free overnight at hotel

Day 6 POLONNARUWA DAMBULLA NALANDA MATALE KANDY

AM leave for Kandy. visitDambulla. In Sri Lankan history Dambulla cave complex dates back to 3rd and 2nd centuries BC. Even before the making of the complex it was well established as one of the largest monasteries in Sri Lanka. the caves became a major religious center.Dambulla is best known for its wonderful cave temple complex dating back to 2nd century BC. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Also known for bird watching. Then visit NalandaGedige the Abu Simbel of Sri Lanka.NalandaGedige is one of a number of remarkable archaeological sites in Sri Lanka. Also visit a spice garden & batik factory in Matale. En-route to Kandy. Evening arrive at hotel in Kandy, the center of the traditional arts in Sri Lanka visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Buddha. Overnight at Hotel

Day 7 KANDY PINNAWELA KANDY

After breakfast leave for Pinnawela& visit the elephant Orphanage. This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their request for water during drought period. P.M. visit the city of Kandy. The most famous landmark of Kandy is its lake, in the center of the city. Visit the Kandy Museum. Late in the evening view the Kandace cultural performance. Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 8 KANDY PERADENIYA NUWARELIYA

After breakfast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for it’s large number and variety of plants, ornamental, Decorative, Useful & medicinal. More than 4000 species include indigenous and introduced plants. This garden is best known for it’s collection of orchids the largest in Asia. P.M. leave for Nuwaraeliya the center of hill country, En-route visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world famous ‘’ Ceylon tea ‘’. Gregory Lake is one of attractive locations in Nuwara-liya& it was built by Governor William Gregory during 1872 – 1877 periods. Shanthipura(the city view point). Spend the evening walking in the cool climate. Arrive at hotel for overnight.

Day 9 NUWARELIYA TRAIN TRIP ELLA to BADULLA

After Breakast leave by vehicle to Ella. from Ella station go by train to Badulla or vice versa one way as per the availability of the train. This is one of the most beautiful routes to be done by train a joy train ride & view the misty mountains ,water falls, tea plantations & other vegetation. Evening visit near Badulla the Dunhinda water falls. return back to Ella for overnight.

Day 10 ELLA TREKKING

This small town is used as a base for plenty of trekking expeditions to the surrounding countryside. A taste of the breathtaking scenery of Ella could be had, if you just walk into the Garden of the Grand Ella Motel (Formerly Ella Rest House), where you seem to be standing at the edge of the world, and everything around you seems to disappear at your feet. Some of the places you could see in Ella are the Ella Gap, Rawana Ella Falls, Little Adam's Peak and Bambaragala Peak among the other many varied pleasant walks with stunning scenery. Day 11 ELLA /BUDURUWAGALA/YALA/ TISSAMAHARAMA

Leave to Tissamaharama En route visit Buduruwagala the seven colossal figures carved out of a rock face at Buduruwagala are reached by a side road to the west, five kilometres south of Wellawaya, on the road to Tissa. The rock itself resembles a kneeling elephant with its head bowed and the end of the folded trunk in its mouth.PM Safari in Yala Park by jeep the Elephant is undoubtedly the best-known attraction at Yala, seen in small & large herds. Herds of spotted deer are seen all over the park. Monkeys-the pinkish rhesus and the Grey-faced Langur monkey live and play on the treetops and the ground below. Wild buffalo & wild boar could give you a good surprise & the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole could be memorable experience. The peacock is easily the most famous of the birds at Yala. Proceed to Tissamaharama. Overnight stay at hotel (If Yala is closed during September October the Bundala reserve will be visited)

Day 12 TISSAMAHARAMA KATARAGAMA BEACH

Morning excursion to Kataragama is a fast developing township in the deep south of Sri Lanka. But in ancient DAYs it was only a small village. Proceed to your beach hotel. Evening relax free dinner & overnight.

Day 13 BEACH FREE DAY

Free DAY relax at the beach hotel with Breakast& Dinner.

Day 14 BEACH SOUTH OF SRI LANKA WELIGAMA GALLE COLOMBO

After breakfast leave to Colombo en-route visit Weligama Stilt Fisherman & the city of Galle Dutch Fort, museum & Church. Dutch Fort: Built in 1663, the fort still retains the atmosphere and charm of Dutch DAYs. Many old Dutch buildings are still intact inside the fort. The best way to see the fort is by walking around at the time of sunset. Dutch Museum: The Dutch Museum which is housed in a restored Dutch mansion of the time, contains paintings, prints, documents, furniture and ceramics from the Dutch colonial era.Dutch Reformed Church: Built by a Dutch Army officer at the site of a previous Portuguese church and completed in 1754 the church is situated close to the new entrance to the fort. P.M City tour in Colombo Visit the fascinating city of Colombo, which links the past with the present. You will visit the Fort area, the commercial centre, and Pettah Colombo’s bustling bazaar area, Cinnamon gardens that are full of large residences. Then free time to be on your own in Colombo.
